I had a moment of pure genius while school supply shopping this year. It was inspired by this book here. I thought the idea of dry erase was perfect for David.
I love these activity books but with only 1 or 2 pages on a certain skill before moving on to a new skill, I always feel like he needs more time to work on mastery before being passed to the next skill level. But this was kind of pricey and only had 12 pages where most of the activity books I buy are 40-80 pages long for the price. My solution
A simple (and cheap) page protector will act just as a dry erase board!!!! This one I just sat the page protector on top of the page, but if you like, you could cut a slit down the side so you can slide the page on.
Or, I have plenty of books like this that have tear out pages.
And better yet, with this method, they can be organized by what kind of activity they are. Just pop them into a folder and put in a file cabinet.
This idea has me really excited...but I think that stems back to my school supply obsession!

How in the world did I never think of this? GENIUS!!
I bought this set for about $12 at walmart a few years ago. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2974906
It works great & you can print pages online or use pages from activity books with it. My kids still use them especially in the car. They have a slot in the back to hold the extra papers too.
Awesome! I figure this way saves paper as well so double win :-)
